We now have…………….
More conveniences – but less time
More degree – but less sense
More knowledge – but less judgments
More experts – yet more problems
More medicine – yet less wellness
Taller buildings – but shorter tempers
Wider highways – but narrower viewpoint
Bigger houses – but smaller families
Spent more – but have less
Multiplied our possessions – but reduced our values
We have…………….
Learn how to make a living, but not a life
Added years to life, but not life to years
Been to the moon and back, but don’t really know our neighbors
Conquered outer space, but forgotten the inner space
Clean up the air, but pollute our souls
Learn to rush, but not to wait
The days of…………….
Fast foods, but slow digestions
Fancier houses, but broken homes
Bigger men, but smaller characters
Steep profit, but shallow relationship
We write more, but learn less
Plan more, but accomplished less
Life is NOT measured by the number of breath we take; but by the moments we make, that takes our breath away.
Many of us living a fast pace life running the race but actually forgot the precious things in life.
ReplyDeleteYup.. we dont even realise what we are missing, until it's gone. So, let's slow down and take things one step at a time.
