We woke up early the next day, excited to venture out into the heart of Turki.

First stop, we visited the Spice Bazzar - and the store named Hazzer Baba scored a 'jackpot' with us. We bought boxes and boxes of Turkish Delights there. This shop was recommended to us by a friend who have been here before. :)

Borong!!! hehe |
After Spice Bazzar, we proceeded to Bosphorus Strait to catch a 2-hour cruise along the strait. The breeze was cool and nice. And the scene by the river bank were simply beautiful.
Waiting to board the cruise boat - Muka excited! |
We enjoyed the view and the cool breeze as the boat slowly makes its way through the strait. We could see an old castle, floating restaurant, beautiful sea-side houses, bridges and of course the seagulls.
Cruising with the birds... so cool!! |
Priceless photo! |
After the cruise, we stopped at a boat restaurant to enjoy FISH BREAD - Yum! Yum!! It is definitely a MUST TRY for those visiting Istanbul.
Then, we took a walk on the bridge, crossing the river and climbing up a hill to reach another Istanbul's famous landmark - The GALATTA TOWER.
Huih! pancit!! |
From the top of Galatta Tower, we could almost see the whole of Istanbul - simply beautiful!!
After Galata Tower, we walked back to the office of our tour agency, where we will wait for our transport to Sulcuk.
